Research firm Informa Telecoms & Media has released the details of its Global Mobile Forecasts to 2014 report, a culmination of industry data that suggests that revenue from the world mobile market will exceed $1 trillion USD by 2013.

Other data revealed by the study indicates that more than 90 percent of the world’s wireless subscribers remain on 2G networks; that percentile is expected to drop below 50 percent in four years as more service providers world towards 3G and 3.5G+ networks.
