Nokia’s E75 handset has received a major firmware upgrade today with the release of E75 firmware 201.12.01; the update has been sorely needed to address performance issues and bugs since the release of the previous version 110.x.
Besides increasing the general speed at which the E75 processes commands and ridding the firmware of several bugs known for some time, new features and improvements also abound. Ovi Contacts has been removed as a separate application and is now integrated into the phone, improvements and small added features can be found for the calendar and sync apps and social networking shortcuts to sites like Facebook, YouTube and MySpace have been added.
