American wireless provider has announced that it will make communications with those in Japan free through March 31.
Following the devastating earthquake and subsequent tsunamis that struck Japan on Friday, millions of people around the world have been attempting to gather information on loved ones in that country. AT&T’s move to provide free communications is meant to remove the worry of large international calling charges given the already troubling cirumstances.
The fee-free period is in effect now for all AT&T customers.
