In a recent interview with the New York Times, Samsung’s Product Manager for the Samsung Reclaim, Casey Ryan, indicated that consumers will likely have access to a variety of touchscreen devices running Google Android and priced below $100 USD. The article offers little in the way of context so it isn’t clear whether Ryan was speaking of the industry in general or Samsung in particular but, either way, it should be clear to all analysts that Samsung expects to play some role with that type of offering in the future.
