HTC has released its financial report covering Q2 2010, posting impressive growth over last year.
With 5.4 million handsets shipped, the company exceeded Q1 results by 2.1 million units, posting total revenues of $1.8 billion USD, a healthy 66.68 percent increase over last year’s dismal results in the midst of the global recession.
Alongside the financial report came a comment from HTC on the manufacturing limitations it faced earlier this year, citing supplier shortages and pledging to increase production at its Shanghai, China facility during Q3 2010.
