Sony has announced that its popular Music Unlimited service is coming to Android-powered devices via a fresh app now available via the Android Market.
Powered by Qrocity, Sony’s Music Unlimited was first launched in Europe in late 2010, coming to North America in January 2011. The service allows users to stream music directly from Qrocity’s online library with the added ability to upload music as well. The service is tagged with a monthly fee of $3.99 for basic service or $9.99 for extended features.
Owners of the Sony Playstation 3 gaming console get a 180-day free trial period if they sign up via the console itself; those without a PS3 can still enjoy a 30-day free trial of the premium plan on creation of a new account.
