Canadian wireless provider Telus has announced that it is adding the LG Optimus 3G to its lineup, offsetting the Optimus One with its CDMA counterpart.
Very similar to the Optimus S carried by Sprint in the United States and sporting many of the same specs as the other devices in LG’s Optimus One series, the Optimus 3G has a 3.2 inch HVGA screen at 320×480 resolution and is powered by a 600MHz processor. Android 2.2 “Froyo,” slightly altered by LG, is on-board; additional features include a 3.2 megapixel with autofocus along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity.
The LG Optimus 3G is currently available from Telus for free on a three-year contract or at $529.99 with no obligation.
